About Borderview Agronomy

Haley Caswell

Who I Am

My name is Haley Caswell and I grew up on a mixed grain and cattle farm north of Bracken in SW Saskatchewan. I’ve had a passion for agriculture as long as I can remember and have many great memories growing up working on my family’s farm. Ultimately the love I had for the farm is what inspired me to get my degree in Agronomy in 2016 from the U of S. To follow up my degree I have earned my CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) certificate, as well as my PAg (Professional Agrologist) designation.
Beyond my profession I love traveling and experiencing different cultures around the world. Whenever I get a chance I love to fit in travel, whether that is jumping in the car and going for a drive on a weekend or booking a plane ticket and going overseas. No matter where I’ve been I live for the interactions along the way; from small town café’s that welcome you like a local, or a kind stranger in a foreign country who helps you along even without speaking the same language.

Why I’m Here

Through my experiences growing up in the area, my formal education, and my experience working with other teams in the past I have reached a point where I believe I can help local producers continue to grow and move forward with the rapidly changing technology in agriculture. I look forward to being involved in many different capacities in each community that I work in. To me this looks like:

Ultimately, I’m here to help producers grow crops in a safe and sustainable way so we can do our part in providing safe and sustainable food.
